The Enterprise Edition combines the features and benefits of both the Standard and the Professional Editions but includes enhanced security and performance features designed for large organisations. Security Features The comprehensive security framework in doQuments allows you to control access to documents and as well as the individual fields used to classify them. Access can be controlled on a per user basis and it's possible to restrict the types of actions each user can perform on a document, i.e. read, edit, delete authorization on a user by user basis. Performance Features The Enterprise Edition supports both Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server based doQuments databases. Microsoft SQL Server is designed for organisations with very large transaction processing demands and brings with it the benefits of improved reliability and scalability of a client/server relational database management system (RDBMS). |
